AUGUST 2012 CALENDAR

Fitness and Nutrition Activities (Adults and Youth 14 and up)-

Zumba Fitness- Mondays & Wednesdays @ 5:30 PM ($3 fee with membership/ $5 without)

UPDATE:  AS OF AUGUST 13TH WE HAVE CHANGED THE TIME FOR ZUMBA TO 5:15 TO ACCOMMODATE ALL PARTIES.  UPDATE:  THE FEES WILL STAY THE SAME TO HELP PAY FOR THE COST TO BECOME TRAINED INSTRUCTORS.

LIGHTS OUT ZUMBA FUNDRAISER August 10th at 7:30 PM $5 per person, purchase your ticket in advance.  Come Join us for a glow in the dark good time!

Dad's Basketball - Thursdays at 6 PM

Yoga Classes - CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Senior Exercise Classes - Mondays and Thursdays 8-9 AM

Farmer's Market Food Giveaway- July 26th, August 23rd, Sept 27th, Oct 25th (weather permitting)

Tulelake at the Honker 4 to 5 PM
Newell at the Park 5 to 6 PM

Weight Room- open hours 8 AM to 6 PM see monthly weight room calendar for availability, membership required for all Fitness activities.

Group Activities for Adults and Seniors-

Pinochle Card Playing - Each Thursday starting at 11 AM

Bingo - the first Friday of each month at 6:15 PM, AUGUST 3rd UPDATE:  BINGO HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND WILL RESUME OCT 5TH.

Activities for Youth-

Drop In Play Groups- The drop in play area is for parent and child and is available during normal business hours Monday through Friday 8 AM to 6 PM.

Nutrition Education- Harvest of the Month (HOTM) Taste Testing of Fruit and Vegetables

Fundraiser for the Honker coming August 10th- Lights Out Zumba Fitness Event! $5 per adult or child 8 and up when accompanied by an adult.  Please purchase your tickets in advance. Childcare will be available for children 7 and under for $2/child. 

Join us at the upcoming Wellness Fair- August 9th at Veterans Park!

Community Education Events-

Car Seat Safety Classes- third Tuesday of each month- AUGUST 21st at 3 PM, Call to register

Helmet Seat Safety Classes- first Tuesday of each month-AUGUST 20th at 3 PM, Call to register




Other Services - Monday through Thursday 8 AM to 6 PM

WIC is at our site monthly, this month they will be here AUGUST 24th
